Hi, I'm Greg Berguy, president of PAC Machinery. Here with Mitch Dall from MSD at the Pack Expo show, where we're featuring this kitting system using a bagging machine, a robot, vision, everything else. We've called it the Kit-O-Matic. It is a kit-building machine. It is automated, basically just taking parts and packaging them with this automatic roll bagger, 1275.
This automates the bagging of the parts, while the robot automates loading the bags with the parts. It's flexible to different kinds of parts you wanna do. As you can see, we're doing O-rings right now. We do all kinds of parts. It can also do standard hardware. It can do, you name it. It's pretty smart, too.
It has mispick detection, as well as making sure it has a good count of parts getting in the bag, because when we automate it, we wanna make sure we're doing it with good quality. Customers can rely on the machine to build quality kits that are the right quantity with the right parts in the bag, which is really important.
Especially unique here is the O-rings. O-rings are traditionally very difficult to feed with automatic bagging systems. They get... with automatic feeders, they get stuck together. Here because of the way that we're feeding it onto this flexible table, it separates them apart, and then the robot is able to take them, load them. And you can do counts. You select whatever counts you want. You can have multiple feeders, so for different kits of parts with different items. Really unique, and really adds a degree of automation in terms of what people can do for their packaging. Yep. And I think to, to finish it off here, we're showing one part on here at a time right now, just the one O-ring, but we can mix different unique parts as well. So we can mix, like, nuts, bolts, and washers all at the same exact time on the bowl to make multiple different components in the same kit.
